Comment Given the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing restrictions, Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) will hold a Virtual Open Fortnight from Monday 16th November – Wednesday 25th November. This is an ideal opportunity for prospective students, and their parents/guardians, to sample the wide range of courses and supports available across CIT. CIT currently offers over seventy CAO course options for entry in 2021 and it is an exciting place to be for Third Level students.

On 1st January 2021, CIT will join with Institute of Technology Tralee to establish Munster Technological University. CAO applicants who can look forward to receiving their parchments from the new University.

Over the course of the fortnight, there will be an extensive range of virtual presentations and live Q and A sessions which will be particularly beneficial to students selecting Higher Education programmes and planning their future careers. Students will have an opportunity to pose questions to lecturers who will answer any queries and current students will also be on hand to recount their own personal experiences and offer advice. Students will also be able to book a talk with one of our staff or students and email any queries they may have to cao@cit.ie
