The Institute recognises the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) for admission purposes and results in the Link Modules element of the programme will be considered as follows:

Merit 46 points
Pass 28 points

The Link Modules may be used as one of the six subjects for overall points calculation but will not be considered as a subject for the purposes of minimum entry requirements.

The Leaving Certificate Applied Programme will not meet entry requirements and will not be awarded points.
QQI FET Applicants General Information QQI/FETAC/Level 5
DIT welcomes applications from students who are presenting QQI/ FET/FETAC Level 5 awards and there are approximately 500 first year places available on Higher Certificate Programmes, Ordinary Degree Programmes and Honours Degree Programmes for such applicants.
