Duration 3 years online part-time.
There is a requirement to attend the one/two full day on-campus workshops per semester with the number of workshops depending on the module requirements. Examinations are in January and May and are available at one of three centres (IT Sligo/Dublin/Cork).
Course Fee The fee for the overall three stages of the MEng in Road and Transport Engineering is €12,000.

For approved local authority engineering applicants, this programme will be 80% funded by DTTaS and 20% funded by local authorities.
Entry Requirements The entry requirement for Stage 1 of the programme is a second class honours BEng degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Graduates of the Level 9 Certificate in Road Maintenance Engineering & Network Management can transfer to Stage 2 of this programme.

Graduates of the L9 Postgraduate Diploma in Road and Transport Engineering can transfer to Stage 3 of the programme and complete the research dissertation to achieve the award of MEng.
