PAC Application Information Applications for all Maynooth University postgraduate programmes must be made online through the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) at www.pac.ie/maynoothuniversity This is an online application system that allows applicants, for a fee of €50, to apply for up to three courses at Maynooth University. Course selection can be from any of our PhD, Research and Taught Masters, Diplomas or Certificate courses. The fee is paid directly to PAC.

Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Tuition fees for students from outside the EU are not subsidised and are thus somewhat higher than for EU students.

Entry Requirements Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level. The degree should be at level 8 in any subject with some mathematical content.

Minimum English language requirements: please visit Maynooth University International Office website for information about English language tests accepted and required scores. The requirements specified are applicable for both EU and non-EU applicants.
Comment Mathematics and Statistics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is a strong research community of academics and postgraduate researchers working in research groups specialising in algebra and number theory, geometric analysis, mathematics education and statistics.
Course Content The MSc in Data Science and Analytics is a 12 month conversion course (new in 2017) designed to give students the knowledge and skills to collect, process analyse and visualise data in order to extract useful information, explore patterns and evaluate models. The course is a collaboration between the Departments of Mathematics & Statistics, Computer Science and the National Centre for Geocomputation.
