On successful completion of this module, students should be able to:

Integrate the aetiology and clinical presentation of peripheral and central neurological conditions affecting older adults

Subjects Taught Content:
Theoretical and practical aspects of key topics required to practice as a leader in neurological rehabilitation. Physiology, anatomy and pathophysiology of central and peripheral nervous system disorders which affect older adults. Presentations of upper and lower motor neuron disorders. Presentations of peripheral neuropathies. Current best practice in multidisciplinary management of nervous system disorders.
Assessment Method Assessment: Total Marks 200: Continuous Assessment 200 marks (1 x 3000 Word Essay).
