This Minor Certificate Award in Safety and Health Representation is specifically designed to provide Safety Representatives with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their function effectively and complies with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) Guidelines on Safety Representatives and Safety Consultation.
Programme/Course Structure
This course is a 12 week course delivered through online lectures and resource materials which are available 24/7 to the learner. Assessments are completed online during the course with progress closely monitored and supported by the academic team. Typically lectures occur online one evening per week for approximately two hours, with opportunities to ask questions and interact similar to a real classroom experience. Alternatively the live recordings can be accessed for repeat viewing at any time. Participants require a broadband service to access the material and participate on the course.
