This programme is provided part-time over two years (24 months) and provides the basic educational requirements for quantity surveyors working in the provision of mechanical and electrical services.

Subjects Taught The subjects covered are quantity surveying practice; measurement methods; building services technology; construction law; construction contracts; building information modelling (BIM); financial management; fire safety and disabled access control; an introduction to economics as it applies to the construction sector; communications; work based learning.
Assessment Method Examinations
Will vary on a module basis as a mix of continuous assessment and/or exams.
