Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Entry Requirements

Expand+The overall number of credits is 90 credits. Students will be expected to take 60 ECTS credits in taught modules, the Philosophical Seminar is obligatory in semester 1 & 2. The final 30 credits will be awarded for the MA thesis.

The Philosophy Department’s particular strengths in the history of Philosophy and its expertise in the hermeneutical and phenomenological traditions provide an excellent supportive environment for postgraduate student research in Philosophy. Most philosophical traditions and themes are present in the curriculum including: Medieval, Renaissance, Modern, and Contemporary Continental approaches.
