With vital current skills in Software Development, Database, ICT infrastructure, Systems Analysis, Testing and User Experience allied to hands on use of Web, Mobile and Cloud frameworks this programme will give you real ICT knowledge and skills to add to your existing graduate qualification. Your previous experience and knowledge allied to current ICT knowledge provides a very attractive offering for potential employers.
This programme is designed to provide an entry path for Level 8 graduates in other numerate disciplines into graduate entry level careers in computing. It includes a placement in target industry. The philosophy behind the programme is that Level 8 graduates from other disciplines will have developed significant transferable skills in analysis, communications and independent learning as so will be in a position to learn quickly a focused subset of computing knowledge to level 8. The programme features semester 2 specialisation in software development, infrastructure, data analytics, or a computer science teachers stream.
