Class delivery day:
Normally Friday Class contact hours: Normally approx. 6 hours per week (varying in some semesters) plus up to 2 hours per module for online tutorials.

Expand+€3,500 per year.
All Taught Postgraduate students can avail of three payment options:
Option 1: 100% on registration.

Course Content Aims
This programme aims to equip experienced social care workers with the knowledge, skills and insight required to be effective managers in social care settings. The programme offers the learner an opportunity to examine the practice of leadership and management in social care services, informed by an analysis of wider management theory, in order to develop appropriate management competencies.

Assessment Method The majority of the course is assessed through continual assessment for all elements of each module. However, there are also final exams as well as continual assessment for some of the modules.
