Duration Duration: 1 Year (20 ECTS credits) / 1 semester (10 ECTS credits).

Timetable Details: Classes and labs run on evenings 18:30 to 21:30 during term time.

The CPD diploma can be completed in one year for 20 ECTS credits. Students requiring shorter courses can complete 10 ECTS in one semester for a CPD Certificate. Students requiring longer courses with additional skills can complete the programme over a longer period of time for additional credits.

Entry Requirements As a continuing professional development diploma, this is aimed at individuals who have an interest in computer programming, and require development of skills in this area, and have an existing qualification at level 5 (Leaving Certificate or above) or relevant experience equivalent to that level or above.
Eligibility if you are a Non EU applicant who has a visa stamp 1, 3, or 4, you are eligible to apply. If you are on a student visa, stamp 2, you are not eligible to apply for part time study.


Students who complete the programme are given a Continuing Professional Development Diploma in Computer Programming at Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications, usually with 20 ECTS but recognising that students can flexibly choos...
