Course Content |
This course prepares students for a career in nursing. The design of course combines aspects of nursing theory and practice, it teaches an understanding of the needs of patients, it develops communications, intellectual and caring skills. Nursing Studies enables the students to become confident, capable and equipped to practice effectively in constantly changing hospital and community-based environments. |

All our Level 5 PLC courses are open to school leavers (Leaving Cert/ Leaving Cert Applied Students/A Levels/GCSE or equivalent), QQI Level 4 graduates and mature applicants. A QQI Level 5 award is a prerequisite to access a Level 6 programme. |
