Entry Requirements Entrants should be (18 years +). No previous experience required for entry level modules. Advanced level modules may have pre-requisite modules or/and relevant industry experience requirements. Applications for exemptions will be considered on a case by case basis. Entrants may be required to attend for an interview.

Course Content Programme Description
Developing the skills, art and ability required to prepare and serve a range of cocktails in a professional manner is one of the keys to both entertaining customers and providing a profitable source of revenue. This module introduces the learner to the principles and practices of cocktail making including a range of classic and contempory mixed drinks.
Subjects Taught Content
The programme includes: history of cocktails; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; handling of equipment; glassware; garnishes; major cocktail categories; cocktail making styles and techniques; pre-and post dinner drinks; hot drinks and specialty coffees. Responsible alcohol consumption.
