Duration 20 weeks, 3 hours per week.

LIT Moylish - Monday from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
Commencing Monday 30th September 2019.

LIT Clonmel - Wednesday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Commencing Wednesday 2nd October 2019.
Course Fee €650 tuition fee paid direct to LIT upon registration.

An examination fee of approximately €150 is also payable direct to EIQA mid-way through the course. The EIQA will contact students registered on the course directly for the exam payment and the payment must be paid directly to the EIQA. Tuition and Exam Fee can not be combined in one payment.
Entry Requirements There are no formal academic entry requirements.
Comment Qualifications
The programme is at Level 7 (Special Purpose – 10 Credits per part) on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Course Content Aims
The aim of this programme is to give participants an understanding of general management principles (based on the ISO9000 standards) and of how quality is managed in a manufacturing or service organisation. It will explain the methodology of quality improvement, in particular the various tools and techniques for analysis.
Subjects Taught The Diploma in Quality Management is a two year programme.

Part 1 (Year 1) addresses the following:
•Basic concepts and definitions
•Setting up a quality system
•Auditing
•Management theory
•Quality engineering – Problem solving and quality improvement
•Service/product quality
•Management and quality developments
•Documentation control
Assessment Method The Programme is assessed through an annual written examination and a project completed during each year.
