This module aims to help participants to develop valuable transferable personal and professional skills. It introduces participants to the basic skills of project management, decision-making, problem solving, team working and communications. The personal development of a person is often a defining factor in their ability to progress professionally.
On completion of this course, students should be able to:
• Plan and implement the management of International Financial Services projects
• Employ a systematic approach to decision making and problem solving
• Use software packages relevant to project management, DEAP and ISBEM
• Communicate effectively, using both oral and written methods.
• Work effectively in a team and critically evaluate factors relevant to team effectiveness.
• Reflect on their own personal and professional development, identify their development needs and put in place an action plan to address these needs.
