This four-year Law Degree offers the student the opportunity to study to Honours Degree standard.
This programme is suitable for those who may be considering the option of pursuing a career in the legal profession or who wish to obtain a qualification in law which would assist them in their current employment.
Students should register for a Diploma in Law if they wish to exit after successful completion of 100 specific credits from Year 1 and Year 2.
What exemptions are available from Professional Bodies?
Upon successful completion of this Degree, students are exempted from the Law Society’s Preliminary examination. See www.lawsociety.ie for further details.
The Degree is also approved by the Honourable Society of Kings Inns and holders of the Degree are eligible to sit the entrance examination to the Barrister at Law Degree programme. See www.kingsinns.ie for further details.
