Entry Requirements Applicants must be 17 years old or over on 1st January following entry to Year 1.

Students, who have completed the Level 5 Certificate in Agriculture, or equivalent course, are eligible to apply for the Advanced Certificate in Agriculture (Dairy Herd Management).

Applicants with relevant prior learning and/or life experience will also be considered.

Where an applicant is the holder of a major award at Level 6 or higher, an additional course charge of €1,000 is applied.

Course Content Aim:
To equip graduates with the knowledge, skills and capabilities for the role of dairy herd technician/manager on their home farm or as an employed farm technician, herd manager.

This full-time dairy education option is offered at:
