In a highly competitive global market place, a master’s degree sets you apart from other job applicants. Having a master’s degree makes a difference on your CV. It shows your dedication to pursuing advanced study in business as well as your work ethic and commitment.
This masters in designed for students who have graduated from a broad spectrum of business and related degree programmes who wish to upgrade and enhance their knowledge and skills to avail of global business opportunities. It gives you a lot of versatility in terms of job choices and the skills are transferable to a variety of job contexts.
Central to the course design is engagement with external businesses and organisations. You will have the opportunity to learn specialized professional skills in a variety of business courses such as team working, project management, research skills and report writing. You will also gain a deeper understanding of businesses and the environments they operate in, as well as skills such as marketing, strategic analysis and information systems.
What will I experience?
Choosing to pursue a master’s degree takes initiative and commitment. On this masters you will:
• Work with start-up companies and help them develop their business and market options.
• Have an international learning experience with students from many different countries participating each year in the programme.

This programme is expected to provide students with the expertise to survive and progress in an increasingly competitive job market. Graduates with a Master’s degree can reasonably be expected to rise to more advanced positions, including senior executive level, in private industry, in the public and private sectors, and in education. Past students of the programme have obtained jobs in business development roles, digital marketing, logistics management, financial advisory roles and project management.
