Expand+The MLitt in Spanish aims to provide students who already have a background in Spanish Studies at undergraduate or postgraduate level with an opportunity to specialize in an area of Spanish or Latin American Linguistic, Literary or Cultural Studies. ...

Research Areas Supervision is offered in the following areas: Latin American and Spanish Film and Visual Cultures; Chicano Studies; Spanish Theatre; Censorship in twentieth-century Spain; Gender and Identity in Contemporary Spain; Cultural Memory; Spanish American literature; Translation; History of Language Teaching; Hispanic Lexicography; Ireland and the Hispanic World. Careers or Further Progression Our graduates may go on to careers in the education sector, as secondary or third level teachers, or as researchers. Their linguistic skills and knowledge of intercultural communication means that many of our graduates may go on to pursue careers with an international dimension, in international business or in the public service.
