Research Areas Research areas in which the department has an interest include: immigration to Ireland from France and to France from Ireland in the early modern period; Huguenot studies; autobiographical writing; women’s writing; twentieth-century fiction and poetry; translation studies; lexicography; francophone literary and language issues; minority languages in French society.
