Course Organisation:
Lectures are normally held on Friday evening 7 - 10 p.m. and Saturday morning 9.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. each week throughout the two semesters (September to April). In addition to attending lectures, participants are required to submit coursework as part of the students' assessment.

Entry Requirements An honours degree in Engineering or related discipline is required. Applications are assessed based on academic qualifications, together with the number of years of relevant experience. A candidate may be interviewed to establish his or her suitability for the course.

6. Health and welfare issues; physical and chemical agents ' regulations and controls
Assessment Method Two three-hour examinations are held on two Saturdays in April/May. Coursework, which is done throughout the year, also contributes towards the overall assessment.
