Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Tuition fees for students from outside the EU are not subsidised and are thus somewhat higher than for EU students.

Comment The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications admits those with a First Class or Second Class Grade 1 Higher Diploma to Graduate Membership. Others who have passed the Higher Diploma are admitted to Associate Membership.
Course Content Those holding the Higher Diploma are deemed to have reached the honours degree standard in Mathematics. The Diploma is awarded at pass and honours levels.

The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications admits those with a First Class or Second Class Grade 1 Higher Diploma to Graduate Membership. Others who have passed the Higher Diploma are admitted to Associate Membership.
Subjects Taught Course Structure
Modules include partial differential equations, group theory, rings and fields, probability, research projects and differential geometry.
Careers or Further Progression Students who attain First Class Honours or Second Class Grade 1 in the Diploma are eligible to apply to higher postgraduate programs in Mathematics or related fields. The Diploma may also be taken as a final course in Mathematics for those wishing to take up employment in, for example, Industry, Commerce, Banking and Finance, Insurance, Software Development, Process Engineering or Education.
