Financial Support Please note that UCD offers a number of graduate scholarships for full-time, self-funding international students, holding an offer of a place on a UCD graduate degree programme.
Entry Requirements This programme is intended for graduates with degrees in classics or related subjects including English, History, or Archaeology. An upper second class honours degree, or the international equivalent is required.

Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0 in each element), or equivalent.
Comment The MA in Classics is suitable for graduates with degrees in Classics (Greek & Roman Civilization, Greek, or Latin) or related subjects (e.g. Philosophy, History, Archaeology) who want a deeper understanding of the ancient world. It can serve as an end in itself or as a preparation for more advanced research.
