Learners should be aware, however, that safety googles/glasses, boots, gloves, welding shield (automatic type if one prefers) and overalls/workshop coat are required to participate in this programme. Please note that these items are not provided by LIT.
An adequate level of English is also required to participate in this course for Health & Safety reasons.
There are only six spaces available on this course, so early registration is advised to avoid disappointment.

Course Content |
Upon completion of this programme, learners will be able to operate a TIG plant and its' parameters. It aims to give an introduction to the basics of TIG welding, welding procedures, tungsten selection, TIG settings, machine set up, welding of several joints using different materials.
Qualification
A Certificate of Completion will be issued to eligible participants. |
