Entry Requirements Minimum Entry Requirements:
A Level 8 Honours degree or equivalent in any discipline. Please note a Level 8 Higher Diploma does not meet the entry requirements.

Course Content This Higher Diploma in Science in Data Analytics is a conversion course for those who already have a Level 8 honours degree, but not in a technical/scientific/numerate area. It is ideal for those who find their job has taken them towards analytics, perhaps in a haphazard manner and want to formalise their knowledge with a recognised qualification.

The programme covers the key areas of Data Analytics - programming (using Python), SQL, maths (statistics), case studies and project work.

Assessment Method Assessments are a combination of online, written, practical and group (using technologies such as Microsoft Teams/Office 365). Please note that most modules have final written exams at the end of semester that require attendance at AIT. Please refer to the academic calendar for details. Repeat exams are held in August.

The field of Data Analytics is rapidly expanding, with analytics being used in areas such as finance, engineering, science, marketing and many more. A lot of people currently working in the field find that their career has evolved to incorporate analytics and therefore need to upskill to remain current.
