Please bring along any hair jewellery or pieces you would like to incorporate into your updo.

We will start from the beginning with the consultation as this is the key to understanding what the client wants and what will suit her. The next step is to learn the essentials of how to:
- put up hair
- build a style with balance and structure
- choose the perfect upstyle
- start the foundation section right through to finishing the fronts.

This four-week introductory course will cover the following areas:
Consultation and how this is key, with consultation advice and tips
Foundation building and the importance of this
Product knowledge
Techniques and methods to starting your style
Tips, tricks and hidden secrets within upstyling, including hiding hair and clips.
Skills to create a range of upstyles
Plaiting will be demonstrated and we will introduce a few types throughout each style
The course will touch on blowdrying to smooth the cuticle to get the hair ready from preparation.
How to grip and secure the hair and how to hide the clips
Types of backcombing available cover all types of hair
Messy and set buns, and occasional upstyles, using your preparation to transform and create a number of quick and easy styles that clients love
Low or high chic styles
