NIBRT Bioprocessing Practical: NIBRT Dublin & Online (due to Covid 19 restrictions) (blocked 10 x 6hr)
Laboratory Practicals: 5 days x 6hr blocked laboratory session delivery in December & May (15%)
Online: ?7hr lectures per week (60%) and some of NIBRT component (6hr every 2nd week) due to Covid restrictions ( Lectures 60%, total with NIBRT 80% if delivered online which is most likely) |

Hide-This programme aims to equip the students with a specialised knowledge of Biopharmaceutical production and the necessary support skills in Bioprocessing, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Cleanroom & Asceptic Techniques and Cell Biology.
Career development and work preparation skills will also be included.
What will the time commitment be?
Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours. Total Learning Hours includes the time you spend in class (lectures, tutorials, practical elements) and the time you spend completing work outside of college. The balance between these two varies by discipline, and by level of study. You should bear in mind that the workload will increase at particular times e.g. when assignments are due.
