- Labour market permission letter.
Education/training Leaving Certificate Standard required. This course requires a good level of English both oral and written with basic computer skills. Entry is then determined by eligibility and interview.
Aptitude: Learners must be motivated to learn, be computer literate, with good basic standard of English and Maths. Learners must be able to do research and be willing to undertake projects and assignments both individually and as a team member.
Previous Experience: Previous Experience within the festival/event industry is desirable though not essential.

The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work independently and under supervision in a range of live sound and event production operations settings and or to progress to further and or higher education and training.
As part of this course, students will plan and realise a live event in The Button Factory in Temple Bar. Guided by industry professionals, students will undertake all planning and pre production elements before producing a live event featuring several diverse musical acts.
This 10 week course is delivered through a mix of blended learning. Online learning is complimented by classroom elements and practical sessions taking place in the state of the art facilities in Sound Training College, Sound Training Productions and the Button Factory in Dublin.
