Entry Requirements Applicants must have completed one of the following or a recognised equivalent (must be 60 ECTS at NFQ Level 6 to be considered):

Level 6 Major Award in Business Studies (FETAC or QQI)
Certificate in Supervisory Management and Team Leadership with AIT
Course Content The Higher Certificate in Business offers a wide range of business-related subjects including Accounting, Economics, Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management.

This programme is an advanced entry programme, that is direct entry into year two Higher Certificate in Business, that leads to the award of Higher Certificate in Business – 120 ECTS.

Careers or Further Progression Progression from the Higher Certificate in Business Studies is on to the Level 7 Bachelor of Business Studies.

On successful completion, students are eligible to apply and progress to the Level 8 Bachelor of Business Studies. On successful completion, students are eligible to apply and progress to a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in various disciplines or Masters of Business Studies in Research.
