This advanced course is ideal for students who want to pursue a career in Software Development and IT. It enables Level 5 Software Development or Computer Programming students to progress and develop their skills.
The course prepares participants for careers in Software Development, Computer Programming and Technical Support as well as progression to Third Level Institutes and Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme including direct entry to the second year of some degree programmes.
Students are given training in job interview techniques and CV preparation. Visits to companies are also organised with a view to possible internships.
