This is a specialist programme with the core aim to prepare students with skills in AI that are in high demand nationally and internationally. AI has applications in almost every industry sector including health, financial technology, advanced manufacturing, media, energy, civic society and public policy.
The course provides knowledge and skills in deep learning, data mining, machine learning, big data, automatic computing, robotics, knowledge engineering and data analytics in the context of AI with the use of state-of-the-art tools.
Course content is informed by our internationally leading research and industry partnerships including our jointly established 28.6 million BT Ireland Innovation Centre. You will benefit from a multi-million-pound infrastructure of a wide-reaching and mobile computing environment.
Graduates can progress into a wide variety of careers, across industrial settings and application domains or embark upon PhD research studies.
