Hide-Certificate Multi Camera Television.
Learn about all aspects of multi-camera television production at the modern National Film School studio building and facilities.
What is it?
This course provides you with the opportunity to develop your own abilities and gain new, unique skills as you produce, direct and crew a multi-camera studio production. You will lead teams and collaborate with others to create an ‘as live’ studio programme for any audience, broadcaster or platform.
This is an intensive 5-week course where you will learn from active practitioners and learn in industry standard facilities at the National Film School at IADT.
What will I do?
Producers must be able to develop television programme ideas that matter in today’s public service and commercial broadcasting landscape. What you learn is built on three strands: content creation, production operations and technical competencies. These include idea research, development and production up to final delivery; all the technical competencies required including audio, lighting, camera operation, rigging, operation of a full professional HD broadcast gallery and related technical equipment.
|
Subjects Taught |
What modules will I study?
This is a single module certificate.
The course is focused on learning how to produce and direct a multi-camera television programme of a professional-standard, to Irish and European broadcast standards.
Sitting alongside the MA in Digital Broadcast Production will enable you to incorporate your skills into your production practices and in your future professional roles. |

Professional pathways exist in the audio-visual, web and screen industries. Graduates go onto radio, online content providers, the broadcast media, advertisement agencies, production facilities, company in house production facilities, state and civil society bodies and indeed any group involved in the creation and distribution of audio content. |
