The aim of this module is to exercise judgment in appraisal of projects and operations; with specific emphasis on energy management and conservation.
On completion of this programme,students should be able to:
• Analyse organizational facilities for potential energy savings initiatives;
• Outline current and future regulation and legislation covering energy conservation and management;
• Explore the potential of combining New Energy Technologies together in the replacement of Fossil fuels;
• Develop a structured approach to Energy Management: EN 16001(IS 393), ISO 4001, ISO 50001.
