Course Fee In general, there are two levels of fees payable. EU students from EU countries including Ireland pay a subsidised level of fees for both taught courses and research programmes. Tuition fees for students from outside the EU are not subsidised and are thus somewhat higher than for EU students.

Subjects Taught The structure of the Postgraduate Diploma (Level 9) in French is very similar to the MA in French. However, it is awarded after completing 60 credits of taught modules, whereas the MA is awarded after completing 90 credits of taught modules and the MA thesis (30 credits).
Careers or Further Progression The Postgraduate Diploma in French equips students for a number of career paths. These include: teaching at various levels, school management, business, politics, publishing, materials’ development, translation, adult education and support, further study at MA, MLitt or PhD level.
