Following careful consideration of the most recent public health guidelines and current levels of transmission of Coronavirus, it has been decided that it is not in the public interest to run fee-paying/self-financing night classes at Cavan Institute this term. We know that this will come as a disappointment to many, but since the hobby courses we offer cannot be classified as "essential education", we cannot justify providing opportunities for people to congregate while the virus is still circulating in our community at the current level. We do not take this decision lightly, will monitor the situation closely over the coming weeks and hope that we will be able to provide night classes on campus in the spring term.
