The Bachelor in Education through the Medium of Irish (Primary Teaching) is a degree which suits in particular students who wish to teach in the Irish-medium sector i.e. in Gaeltacht and All-Irish schools. The programme is fully recognised by the Teaching Council and graduates will also be eligible to apply for positions in a school in which Irish is the second language. Graduates could also work in areas other than education such as in the media or research.
