Hide-About This Course
This Beauty Therapy (Year 2) course allows students to advance their professional skills and add to their existing qualifications.
Students will work with world-renowned professional skincare and body products, such as Yonka, to develop practical expertise in a range of treatments. Students will complete case studies on guest clients for each module, performing treatments such as body massage and figure analysis, microdermabrasion and IPL, and learning correct use of electrical machines. As part of this beauty therapy (Year 2) course, students actively design, set up and participate in the Institute’s commercial salon, which runs on a weekly basis. This experience empowers the students, building their confidence to make the transition to professional beauty therapist. Additional workshops may be offered in gel nails, specialised waxing, hot stones and hopi ear candling.
