The Graduate Certificate is ideal for professionals who want to "top up" their existing postgraduate degree with specialist information in digital information management. Further, the Graduate Certificate offers a pathway to the MSc or GradDip in Digital Information Management, should you decide you want to go forward with more education after completing the 30 credit Graduate Certificate.
The Graduate Certificate combines core elements of digital preservation and curation. You will learn from academic and industry leaders in Ireland about how to manage “born digital” and digitised materials in a variety of formats including text, image, audio and video. You will explore the challenges of maintaining digital information and acquire the skills needed to liase with technologists about data storage and data management issues.
