| Course Content |
The Diploma in Arts (Church Music) was established by Maynooth University Music Department in 1999 with the aim of building up parish musicians’ practical skills and liturgical knowledge via an accredited training programme. |

The advantage of doing the course, beyond the skills and knowledge gained, together with the enrichment of contact with other parish musicians, is the obtaining of a recognised qualification in church music, making the candidate better equipped and more employable for work in this area. |
