Beauty Therapy
This one-year course prepares students for a career in the growing beauty and spa industry. It provides practical training in salon treatments and customer care, essential for working in a professional setting. With constant innovation in products, equipment, and techniques, beauty therapy is a dynamic and evolving field. This intensive programme is ideal for school leavers and mature students ready to commit to a fastpaced, hands-on learning experience. To successfully complete ITEC qualifications, students must meet the required attendance standards set by ITEC. Additional qualifications include the ITEC Diploma in Beauty Specialist and industry certifications in Nail Technology, Gel Polish, Brows, and Lashes.

Career Opportunities
Students from this course are in high demand with employers. Graduates can work in beauty salons, skincare and make-up consultancies, leisure centres, cruise liners, health farms, or spas. Roles also include massage therapist or company representative. Further study options include Level 6 beauty programmes or progression to Level 7 and 8 degrees at TU Dublin Blanchardstown, Technological University of the Shannon, IADT Dun Laoghaire, and other technological universities nationwide.
