Pre-University - Animal Science
This course suits students who are passionate about animals and biology, providing a strong foundation in Animal Science and Biology. Modules include Animal Anatomy, Behaviour, Welfare, and Physiology. It is an ideal introductory pathway to further study in Veterinary Nursing, Bio-Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates may progress to Veterinary Nursing, Science, or Bioscience degrees.
Options include Zoology, Agricultural Science (UCD), Wildlife Biology (MTU Tralee), Marine Biology (ATU GMIT), and Bio- Veterinary (TUS Athlone or MTU Tralee). Others may enter roles in animal behaviour, grooming, welfare, or work in stables and kennels. Many also use this award to access courses in the UK.
Progression Options
This course prepares students for progression to Veterinary Nursing or Agricultural Science degree programmes. It is also widely used by graduates to apply for a variety of related courses in the UK.
