• Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent
• Interview
• Mature applicants welcome
• Applicants whose first language is not English will require a competency as stated in our admissions policy.
• Ukranian applicants should have a certificate of complete secondary education (after grade 11) or higher.
•If the course becomes oversubscribed, priority will be given to students who intend to complete the full award.

You will be called for interview in March, April, May or August, depending on which course you have applied for. Following your interview, you will be offered a place, placed on a waiting list or advised of other course options.

Construction Technology with Renewable Energy Systems - 5M5010
This course may be of interest to students who are considering pursuing a degree in Construction Technology with emphasis placed on Renewable Energy. It is also of particular relevance to those who have an interest in Health and Safety or for those who wish to progress to further study.
This course is designed to
• Prepare participants for entry to Higher Education Colleges eg IT Sligo
• Gain practical competence in good work practices including adherence to health and safety procedures in the workplace.
• Allow the learner to develop the ability to exercise initiative in construction technology.
Certification: QQI Level 5 Award in Construction Technology (5M5010).
