Beauty Therapy
This one year Level 6 QQI ITEC course in Beauty Therapy provides a foundation in Beauty Therapy and provides the opportunity to progress to employment or further study in the Beauty Therapy area. The course contains a mix of practical and theory elements with trips throughout the year. There is an opportunity to partake in Erasmus+ placements.

Duration
This is a full-time one year course which runs from September to May.
Entry Requirements
NFQ Level 5 in a relevant discipline when accessing a Level 6 programme.
ITEC Level 3 or equivalent
Entry is subject to interview
CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 6 courses for those whose first language is not English Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway Additional requirements may apply to non-EU/EEA Applicants and may be subject to full international fees.

On completion of the course, students take the CIDESCO Examination which consists of:

Project with Case Histories
Candidates are required to research and write a Project assignment (2500-4000 words) on a subject relevant to the study of beauty therapy and connected to their Case Histories.
