Human Resources Management
This course is aimed at students who wish to develop their knowledge of Human Resource Management, both in theory and in practice. It leads to opportunities in HR departments across a wide range of public and private sector organisations.

Duration
1 year full-time.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 5 passes at ordinary level in the Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.
OR
Leaving Certificate Vocational, Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4 qualifications.
The Leaving Certificate is not a requirement for mature students and appropriate experience can be considered as being equivalent to the Leaving Certificate.

This course is aimed at students who wish to develop their knowledge of Human Resource Management, both in theory and in practice. Successful graduates of this course can use their QQI certificate to progress to higher level studies in the Higher Education Institutes.
All organisations, regardless of size, have a Human Resource function that deals with HR issues such as recruitment; rights and responsibilities of employees and employers and staff development and training. This course offers an introduction to each of the above areas and so that the student has the theoretical and practical knowledge they need when applying for HR-related positions.
