Film & TV Production
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work in television studio production crew roles or in single camera crew roles in a managed environment in a range of television and film production contexts or to progress to further or higher education and training.

This is a one year full time course running from September until May.
Entry Requirements
- Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent.
- Mature applicants with relevant experience welcome.
- Entry to this course is subject to interview.

Mayo College of Further Education & Training is offering no tuition fees for September 2026, which covers exam fees, student consumables, and journals. This one year Level 5 QQI course in Film and Photography provides a foundation in Film and Photography and provides the opportunity to progress to employment or further study in the Film and Photography area. The course contains a mix of practical and theory elements with trips throughout the year. There is an opportunity to partake in Erasmus+ placements.
