Music & Sound Production
This one-year course is designed to give students an introduction to the world of sound engineering, the media and the music industry. This course is designed to provide a combination of practical and theoretical tuition in all aspects of digital sound engineering and event production. Students will work in a fully equipped digital studio and be involved in the production of live performance recording.

Career Opportunities
This course provides hands-on training in sound engineering, music production, and music technology, covering both live and studio environments. Graduates can progress to the Higher National Diploma in Sound Engineering at Dunboyne College or to degree programmes at institutions such as DCU, IADT, Maynooth University, TU Dublin (BIMM), DKIT, UL, MTU, and TUS. Over 175 QQI places are also available for First Arts at Maynooth.
The course offers the technical skills, practical experience, and industry insight needed for further study or a career in the music and audio industry.

This course develops skills in music production, sound engineering, and music technology, with hands-on training in live sound and studio recording. Students gain practical experience in recording, mixing, and producing music using industry-standard software and equipment. The course focuses on both technical ability and creative problem-solving through real world projects. By producing and engineering live and studio sessions, students build the discipline and experience needed for further study or entry into the music industry.
