Gym Instruction, Fitness & Nutrition - Sports, Recreation & Exercise
This one year course will prepare students for work in the Sports & Leisure Areas. It consists of theoretical and practical training which will enable the students to work in Health Spas & Massage Therapy Clinics. The course leads to internationally recognised qualifications and students supplement their studies with work experience in a relevant area.

Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. A proven ability in a Science subject will be an advantage. All appplicants should have a keen interest in sport & fitness. Exemptions may be granted to mature students.

Further information
Students are considered to be mature if they are 21 years of age or over. They must be 21 on or before 1 September in the year of entry.

PLC Grants/ SUSI Grants
The Department of Education and Skills (DES) provides a means-tested maintenance grant scheme for those attending full-time further education.

Places will be offered upon successful completion of interview.
