This course is designed to develop in the student a high level of competence in accountancy, information technology and management skills to enable him/ her to gain suitable employment and to make an immediate contribution to the business community.

Duration
4 Years — Part-time. 2 evenings per week 7.00 - 10.00pm with some Saturdays throughout the year (indicative).
Entry Requirements
All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the course.

Graduate opportunities exist as a trainee accountant in practice or industry. Many graduates also find employment in the financial services sectors such as banking, insurance, financial analysis and fund management. A period of further study will allow the graduate to qualify as a professional accountant. Graduates are eligible to progress to a Taught or Research Masters Degree at South East Technological University and other institutions. Graduates may also take professional accountancy exams to further their qualifications.
