European Languages & Studies
This course will prepare students for entrance into Arts or European Studies programmes in third level institutions. It will also give students essential skills in two European languages: French and Spanish.

Duration
The European Studies and Languages course runs full time from September to May.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate or equivalent and an interview with the course coordinator. Mature students are welcome.

Students may pursue careers in the EU institutions and the Irish Civil Service.
Third Level Links/Progression
Students who achieve Level 5 QQI certification can gain entry to a number of language and arts courses in universities such as DCU and UCD via the CAO application process and the Higher Education Links Scheme. For more information,
