Entry Requirements
For applicants preparing for the PME (Primary) application, a minimum of H4 in Irish in the Leaving Certificate is required. For applicants interested in the course for general communication purposes, RPL can be applied and applicants might be asked to attend a short online interview to assess readiness for the course.

If you are thinking of applying for the PME (Professional Masters in Education) for a career in primary teaching, this short course can support students’ learning in oral Irish in preparation for the TEG (Teastas Eorpach sa Ghaeilge) examination to gain entry to the PME in colleges of education.
